Sentioo Ethical Principles
Effective from 11 September 2026
Version: 2026-09-11
1. Purpose and scope
Sentioo is a sales and education system operated by Mentioo s.r.o., Company ID 23605740, with its registered office at Újezdská 272/1, Újezd, 312 00 Pilsen, registered with the Regional Court in Pilsen under file no. C 47133 (“Mentioo”). These principles supplement the Terms of Service and set the minimum standard of conduct and content for Sellers, their teams, Customers and other users.
These principles protect dignity, safety, free competition, consumers, children, privacy and authors’ rights. They apply to public and non-public content, sales websites, courses, products, custom assignments, communications, reviews, live streams, files, APIs and connected services. Professional or educational treatment of a sensitive subject is not prohibited merely because it depicts that subject; its purpose, context, legality and manner of presentation are decisive.
2. Core values
- truthfulness, clarity and fair commercial conduct;
- respect for dignity, privacy, safety and equal treatment;
- authors’ responsibility for the expertise, quality and impact of their content;
- protection of intellectual property and proper attribution of sources;
- civil communication, constructive criticism and honest correction of errors;
- data minimisation and particular consideration for children and vulnerable persons.
3. Seller obligations
Sellers deal with their Customers in their own name. They must therefore, in particular:
- truthfully state their identity and status, contact details, price, taxes, content, scope, duration, technical requirements, dates and offer terms;
- not claim that Mentioo has professionally approved, guaranteed or sold their offer unless this is expressly stated;
- use only qualifications, references, results and ratings that they can substantiate, and not guarantee an outcome that depends on circumstances beyond their control;
- comply with consumer, tax, licensing, professional and sector-specific rules applicable to their activities;
- correct material errors, respond reasonably to enquiries and complaints, and ensure previously promised performance even when they stop using Sentioo;
- obtain consents and licences for likenesses, music, videos, texts, trade marks, personal data and other materials used;
- secure their account, team roles, exports, API keys and connected services, and grant access only to persons who need it.
4. Obligations of Customers and other Users
- use content only within the purchased or permitted scope and not share an account or access with unauthorised persons;
- not record or distribute lessons, communications or personal data without a legal basis;
- communicate civilly, refrain from threats or harassment and respect others’ boundaries;
- write reviews based on genuine experience, without manipulation, coercion or undisclosed reward;
- not misuse refunds, payment disputes, certificates, tests, access credentials or technical features.
5. Transparent offers, advertising and reviews
An offer description must enable an informed decision. False urgency or scarcity, fabricated original prices, hidden recurring payments, pre-selected paid add-ons, inadequately labelled advertising, omission of a material term and interfaces designed to steer Users into an unwanted choice are prohibited.
Paid or otherwise incentivised promotion, recommendations and reviews must be clearly identified. Sellers may not commission false ratings, make a reward conditional solely on a positive review or suppress legitimate criticism. They may, however, respond factually, request the correction of a false statement or report a breach of the rules.
6. Privacy, confidentiality and sensitive data
Users may collect only data they genuinely need for a clearly stated purpose and must protect it against unauthorised access. They may not sell or disclose Customer data, use it for unexpected profiling or add it to marketing without a valid legal basis.
Health data, biometric data, political opinions, religious beliefs, sex-life data and other special categories of data may be requested only within a designated feature, where necessary for performance, where the User has been properly informed and where a valid legal exception applies. Access to such data must be specifically restricted. Login credentials, complete payment-card details, official identifiers or confidential data must not be requested in an ordinary text field, chat or discussion unless necessary.
7. Prohibited content and conduct
Sentioo must not be used to create, offer, distribute, finance or support, in particular:
- illegal content or activity, sanctions evasion, money laundering, fraud, phishing, identity theft, malware, spam or unauthorised access;
- the sexual abuse or exploitation of children, sexualisation of minors, human trafficking, non-consensual intimate content or sexual services;
- pornographic or sexually explicit content whose primary purpose is sexual arousal, including personalised intimate content, paid sexual communication, explicit live streams or similar services;
- credible threats, instructions for or support of terrorism, violent extremism, self-harm, violence or the manufacture or acquisition of illegal weapons and drugs;
- hatred, humiliation or calls for discrimination against a person or group based on a protected characteristic;
- bullying, stalking, sexual harassment, blackmail, doxxing or disclosure of non-public personal data without authorisation;
- content infringing copyright, industrial-property, personality, contractual or other rights;
- false certificates, plagiarism, exam circumvention or a service whose primary purpose is academic fraud;
- misleading health, legal, investment or tax claims, particularly when presented as individual professional advice without the required qualifications and risk warnings;
- regulated gambling, financial services, health services or other regulated activities without the necessary authorisation and safeguards;
- manipulation of metrics, orders, traffic, reviews, recommendations, availability or identity, and coordinated deception of the public.
The prohibition on pornographic and sexually explicit content does not apply to proportionate educational, medical, preventive, scientific, historical or artistic content where its primary purpose is not sexual arousal, it is presented only to the extent necessary for that purpose, it is lawful and the necessary rights, warnings and protections for minors are in place. The title, preview, promotion, charging method and possibility of personalised requests are also taken into account in the assessment.
This list is not exhaustive. Every assessment takes account of the law, context, seriousness, likely impact, educational or journalistic value and the fundamental rights of those involved.
8. Children and vulnerable persons
Only a person aged 18 or over may hold a Seller account. An offer intended for children must be appropriate to their age, must not exploit their credulity or directly encourage them to make a purchase. The Seller must arrange parental or guardian involvement, consents, communications, records and privacy protections appropriate to the nature of the service. Private communication between an adult and a child must be limited to the necessary purpose and conducted in a way that protects both the child and the instructor.
It is prohibited to target people in distress with deceptive promises of guaranteed recovery, earnings, debt relief, legal success or any other guaranteed result.
9. Artificial intelligence and synthetic content
The Senti assistant provides informational answers and, in a lecturer account, summaries from areas the User is authorised to access. In its first version it does not change settings or make commercial decisions itself. The User remains fully responsible for using an answer and must review it for factual accuracy, legality and safety before publication or other material use.
Synthetic or materially altered content must be labelled where it could mislead a reasonable person about its origin, author, depicted person or an actual event. AI must not be used to impersonate a person without authorisation, commit fraud, feign expertise, create prohibited content, make decisions about people based on sensitive characteristics or process another person’s confidential data without authority.
10. Reporting a concern
Content or conduct that may be unlawful or contrary to these principles can be reported using the “Report” tool or by email to info@sentioo.cz. Where possible, the notice should include the exact URL or another unambiguous identifier, a description of the reason, available evidence and a contact email address. Contact details are not required for reports of child sexual abuse where permitted by law.
A reporting person must act in good faith. A report does not result in automatic removal; Mentioo assesses the available information impartially and with due regard to the rights of all affected persons. Manifestly abusive or repeatedly unfounded reports may be restricted after warning.
11. Moderation and measures
Depending on the nature and seriousness of the matter, Mentioo may request an explanation or remedy, add a warning or age restriction, reduce reach, suspend sales or payments to the extent technically permitted, hide or remove content, restrict a feature, suspend or terminate an account, preserve evidence or report the matter to a competent authority or payment provider.
A measure should be necessary, proportionate and consistent. In particular, illegality, harm, reach, intent, repetition, cooperation in remedying the issue and the risk of further harm are considered. A final decision with a significant impact is reviewed by an authorised person; automated tools may only provide safety signals or remove obvious spam unless the law permits otherwise.
We generally tell the affected User the reason for and scope of the measure, the contractual or legal basis used and the available means of redress. We may limit this information where required by law, an investigation, security or the protection of another person.
12. Appeal and remedy
An appeal against a decision to restrict content, a feature, monetisation or an account may be submitted within six months to info@sentioo.cz. It should identify the decision, explain the grounds for disagreement and state any new facts. The appeal will be assessed by a person who is not bound by the original automated recommendation; we will inform the User of the outcome and its main reasons.
We will remedy an erroneous measure without undue delay to the extent technically possible. This does not affect the right to refer the matter to a court, administrative authority or another body provided for by law.
13. Cooperation and emergencies
Users must provide reasonable cooperation in an investigation of a security incident, fraud, infringement of rights or a threat to a person. Where there is an immediate danger to life or health, first contact the emergency number 112 or the competent authority; Sentioo is not an emergency or crisis service.
14. Final provisions
These principles are a binding part of the Service rules, but do not replace the law, a professional code or the responsibility of the individual Seller. Interpretation and moderation procedures are also governed by the Terms of Service, and data handling by the Privacy Policy.
We will announce material changes in the manner described in the Terms of Service. These Ethical Principles are effective from 7 September 2026.
